Synopsis

The morning of the Autumn Court Assembly arrives. Thanks to Qianqian's warning, Xie Zheng prepares an elaborate counter-ambush. He sends a decoy carriage along the expected route while he and Changyu take a hidden path to the palace. When Qi Min's assassins attack the decoy, Xie Zheng's soldiers spring the trap and capture them alive.
The captured assassins carry weapons bearing the mark of Prince Kang's private guard — physical proof of the assassination attempt that can be presented alongside the Jinzhou dossier.
