Synopsis

His ultimate goal becomes clearer: he wants to install his own candidate as Crown Prince, and Xie Zheng — with his military prestige and the people's love — is the greatest obstacle to his plans.
Changyu begins her own intelligence-gathering, using her informal connections with servants and merchants. She learns that Qi Min has been embezzling military funds, and that the Jinzhou disaster may have been partly caused by supplies that never arrived — supplies that Qi Min's ministry was responsible for. This could be the key to both the Jinzhou investigation and bringing Qi Min down.
